Hey everybody! We did it! The smoke test was a full success!
Our surveys will go out this coming Monday on the 31st of August, so get ready!
You’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the survey invite email, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email! The next update will also include the step-by-step guide if you missed that in our last update ;D
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email.

Thank you so much for your patience and support.
The day has come for us to launch our smoke test for our BackerKit survey!
What does this mean, and what is a smoke test?
Think of the smoke test as a test run for our survey that will help us make sure everything works fine with Backerkit's pledge manager before opening it to everyone. This means a few of you have received a mail inviting you to complete your shipping info on Backerkit.
After we make sure everything works fine, we will send the survey to every backer, so please check your email folders and spam if you may have received one of our survey mails yet and help us out by filling out your form as soon as possible so we may start sending out surveys to the rest of you awesome people ;D
We will send out another big update when we are ready to open the survey to all backers and will also open the BackerKit pre-order store for everyone who missed the Kickstarter. We will update you when all is ready to go!
In this survey you will be able to upgrade your pledge or add any add-ons you'd like. For the seasoned and weathered Superbacker, this may be old news, but for everyone who has never pledged to a crowdfunding campaign before (we have been there; we got you...it can be confusing from time to time), we have put together a little step-by-step guide on how to navigate your survey and claim your well-earned rewards!
Little, very not so short step-by-step survey tutorial
1. You will receive an email with an invitation to complete your shipping info and a link, which will bring you to the following page
2. Just click the "Get Started!" button to begin your survey.
IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR PLEDGE LEVEL, this is where you will be able to do it!
Simply click “Switch your Pledge Level”, located under the “Get Started!” button, which will open the following window.
3. Just choose your new pledge level and continue.
The price difference when upgrading a pledge will be paid by the end of the survey, while the amount gained when switching to a lower pledge will not be refunded; instead, you'll get a credit for the price difference, which you then can use toward additional add-ons.
Starting the survey, you will be brought to this page:
4. Here you can choose your preferred pin/or patch designs depending on how many pins and patches you pledged for during the campaign (excluding campaing add-ons, those come later ;D)
Just scroll down, choose your preferred design, and click the "Next" button at the bottom to continue.
Depending on how many pins or patches you have pledged, you will have to choose your designs for every single amount before moving on.
5. After this you will find several additional questions. They are not relevant to your pledge, and you can skip any of them to move forward. They are mainly for us to gather input from you about the campaign and future campaigns!
IMPORTANT FOR OUR LEGENDARY SUPPORTER BACKERS!
Here we will collect your email information to get in touch with you about your custom Coat of Arms design. You can type it in here, if you had not already shared your email with us. You can easily skip this step, if you have given us that info already!
IMPORTANT FOR OUR PRELAUNCH MAILING LIST BACKERS!
Since we have been asked before, where you can redeem your code for a FREE Kickstarter Exclusiv Sticker Set, when supporting our campaign through our mailing list. THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN ENTER YOUR CODE, which you should have received with your first mail. If you do not have a code, just skip this step and move on through all the other questions until you reach this page:
This page will show you all your add-ons purchased during the campaign, depending on what and how many add-ons you chose you can make your selections of specific extra patches and extra pins by clicking the "Select Style" bar, next to the according add-ons.
If your hunger for extra pins and patches has not been satiated yet, this page is where you can purchase additional items at the special Kickstarter rate to add to your hoard! They will be charged together with your shipping cost at the end of the survey.
Scrolling down you will find all add-ons available during the campaign, as well as additional goodies! We added special sales offers for our bestsellers from our webshop and Prehistoric Pride Series, as well as our limited Custom Coat of Pride Commission, which was only available to the Legendary Supporter Tier, where you get to design your very own Coat of Arms with us, according to your vision!
Moving on to the next page, you will be asked to confirm your shipping address. Should you need to update your shipping info, you can do so until we lock the surveys (which will be by the end of this year). After that no more changes can be made to the survey and your shipping info.
At the end, double-check your pledges, add-ons, and additional orders and finish the survey by entering your card information and placing the order with BackerKit and paying the shipping fee.
We will receive your survey and update you when we are ready to ship!
